When the required formats do not match

Your company can send a digital file. The recipient needs paper. Or the recipient needs a CD that your team cannot create. CUI Move handles the change of format and the transfer.

Printed schematics

The recipient needs printed drawings, but the sender's assessed process does not include printing.

A required CD

The recipient needs a CD, but the sender does not have a way to create it.

Start with the format you have

Tell us how the information is available and how it must arrive. We arrange the format change and delivery.

One request defines the transfer

  1. Describe the transfer

Specify the source format, the required output, and the delivery location.

  2. Provide the information

We arrange the intake method for the request. This can include a secure file exchange such as SharePoint, Exostar or DoD SAFE, mailed documents, or mailed media.

  3. We convert and deliver

Our team performs the format change in house and manages delivery through the agreed method.

You determine whether the recipient may receive the CUI. CUI Move handles the format change and transfer.

Simpler by design

Fewer CUI flows to describe

Printing, creating a disc, packaging, shipping, and every secure exchange a recipient asks you to use are each a way CUI moves. Run them yourself and every one of them is a path you build, maintain and describe — along with what it pulls in behind it, from destroying the misprints to the ports and web allowances you open so one more system can reach yours. Send them through CUI Move and your side stays the system you already use.

Running it yourself

The same do-it-yourself path shown for 5 formats: printed schematics; cd or dvd; usb drive; documents arriving by mail; files in a secure exchange. Each one is its own flow, with its own subflow for what it leaves behind and its own supporting work. The physical formats call for physical controls; the digital one calls for changes to the boundary instead.
